Profile
Ulysses read law at the University of Cambridge.
He joined chambers upon completion of pupillage with Mr Cheng Huan SC, Mr Alan Ng, Ms Vivian Wong, and Mr Lincoln Cheung.
He has been appointed a Visiting Scholar of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2025).
Ulysses has appeared in all levels of court up to the Court of Appeal (CA), either as a sole advocate or led junior. In a recent CA case Premier Capital Management Ltd v. So Wang Fung and Another [2026] HKCA 601, Ulysses represented the borrower appellants where the CA held inter alia (in the Appellant's favour) that on a proper construction of the Money Lenders Ordinance, once a sum is set off under s.27(4), the “amount actually lent” is “deemed to be reduced accordingly” which meant that the reduced figure must be used as “principal” under s.2(1) and (3).
Prior to joining the Bar, Ulysses worked for a number of years in the medical supplies and equipment industry, and then at a respected local solicitors' firm.
Ulysses is now developing a broad criminal and civil practice, accepting instructions across all areas of Chambers’ work.
